Invitation for schools and related practitioners

We invite all schools and interested practitioners in York, North Yorkshire and East Riding to work with us in advancing knowledge about child development. 

SUNRAY Partners benefit from:

• Termly newsletters showcasing opportunities, activities, and the latest research findings

• Opportunities to shape ongoing and future research questions 

• Opportunities to participate in both local and (inter)national research studies 

• Resources and events to support teaching and continued professional development

• A range of pupil-focused activities to inspire interest in science and higher education 

• Conversations with researchers on a range of topics including language and literacy, mathematics, learning and memory, mental health and wellbeing, neurodevelopmental disorders, sleep, peer relationships and social development, and vision

Schools and practitioners in neighbouring counties are also welcome to sign up to the network, and reach out to us if there are ways we can strengthen these partnerships.
